Mr. José Maiz Mier started working in 1938 as an independent contractor in the City of Monterrey, N.L., Mexico, and started to build up into that which finally in 1961 became the prestigious CONSTRUCTORA MAIZ MIER, S.A. DE C.V.

Thanks to the entrepreneur spirit of its founder (Mr. Jose Maiz Mier) who from the beginning gave his tenacity, dedication and experience, transformed our company into a leader in the construction industry, not only in the northeast area of our country, but also all around Mexico.
Mr. José Maiz Mier continued leading the company as The Chairman of the Board, contributing with his extensive experience in the construction industry until September 16 2006, date of his death.

Taking the leadership of the Board of Directors, Mr. Jose Maiz Garcia with 40 years of experience as General Director, Mr. Carlos Maiz Garcia with 27 years experience as General Sub director, Mr. Ricardo Maiz Garcia as Purchasing Director with 30 years of experience and the third generation with Mr. José Maiz Domene with 18 years of experience as Industrial Works Director and Mr. Mauricio Maiz Domene with 15 years of experience as Construction Director.

Nowadays, Constructora Maiz Mier is a company formed by a work team that is known by its experience, responsibility, dedication, honesty and sobriety that develops every construction project on the best conditions of time, cost and quality supported by our own machinery and heavy equipment.
